We are bursting with pride for our incredible Runnymede Team who took on the monumental Race to the Stones event on 12th & 13th July to support Parkinson’s UK, a cause close to our hearts.
Morena stunned her family by surpassing their expectations, completing 50km. Gary battled through a massive blister to keep going, and Mark Knight delivered an outstanding performance.
Laurence and Sam casually walked the first half, then ran the next 50km, finishing the 100km with ease. Andy impressively walked the entire 100km non-stop! Anne and Michae pushed through to complete this remarkable challenge.
Our team has not only achieved amazing personal milestones but also smashed their fundraising target. We’re so delighted to share that our recent Race to the Stones charity walk was a huge success. Thanks to the generous donations from our amazing supporters, we have raised an incredible £5,840 for Parkinson’s UK.
On this remarkable day, we embarked on an awe-inspiring walk. We bonded, created cherished memories, and had an absolute blast!
The team had such a great time that some of them are already discussing organising the charity event again next year!
